A very practical book by a long time grower, ex commercial seedsman, and someone who has lived for many years with little income eating mainly what grew in his own garden, so his garden had to produce or he went hungry. Having worked with the Jeavons biointensive approach for a number of years, this author’s experiences growing crops for his seed business persuaded him to change his methods to improve yields with less water consumption and fewer soil amendments.
